These headphones are not Apple brand and they do not sound as good as the original pair that came with your iPod. The picture is very misleading. The photo shows headphones that are identical to my original pair, but the ones I received look and sound quite a bit different. I bought these under the impression that they were Apple headphones. Do not waste your time or your money with these if you want exact replacements for your original pair.

I love the earphones that came with my nano. When they finally died, I went online, saw this product, and I naively thought I was getting a steal; apple iPod earphones for a couple of bucks. I ordered two pairs.
I was wrong. The sound quality is poor... somewhat muffled, though not as poor as some I've heard. They need to be treated like royalty or they'll break. The only reason I'm rating this 3 stars is because I should have known it was too good to be true.

I bought this item and when I got them I used them once then I didn't start using them regularly right away because my old pair wasn't dead yet, when I went to use them about a month later only one side worked. I was very unhappy with the quality, I took them no where and used them once or twice and they already broke. I feel like there was also false advertising in play due to the picture of APPLE brand headphones but the ones that I received were on off-brand. I would never pay money for these headphones no matter how cheap they are!!!

hey..they're a dollar. Lasted me about 2 weeks and then the wire got stripped when I pulled it out of my laptop
