This is a nice case, sturdy, but it doesn't hold up to being dropped on a hard floor. My baby dropped it on the bathroom floor and the case flew off and broke. I was able to put it back on, but it's broken. Since it's suppose to protect the ipod I'm not sure I'd trust it if you need it to be rugged. However with normal use, it's great. It feels very nice and it snaps shut very tightly.

Good product, worth the money spent. Arrived late on Standard Shipping, but was easy to snap on and fits nicely in your hand. Now I don't have to worry about damaging my iPod touch 2G's metal back. The only problems are if you use anything with an iPod dock this may not be the product for you. In some cases (pun!), this cover may make the iPod to large to fit on a dock for an iHome or stereo system. PLUS, GOOD LUCK GETTING IT OFF! This case is by no means removable! I was browsing a consumer electronics store (one of the only one's still in business that rhymes with Gest Guy!) and I was test out shelf stereos with iPod docks. I didn't fit in all of them and when I tried to remove the case, it just wasn't happening, and I was afraid I might break the snap pins if I tried too hard. So be careful!

This is actually a very good product. I have the iPod 2nd generation and this case fits perfectly. The only bad thing is that once the case is clipped on, it's very difficult to take it back off. But you don't need to take it off very often, so it doesn't matter.

I was looking for a simple hard black cheap ipod 2g case. And that's what I got, but keywords: HARD and CHEAP. It was way hard to get off and made too cheaply. Once I realized my iPod wouldn't fit in my iHome with the case on, I knew it wasn't really going to work. Then I tried to take it off and it took me at least 20 minutes. While trying to take it off pieces of the case started chipping off. In the process I also broke a pen, scratched my iPod with a fork, and finally BROKE THE CASE itself. I'm just glad I didn't break my iPod. I can't return the case because it would cost more to return it than it would to keep it. Waste of money, time, and energy. If I had kept this, however, I'm sure it would have protected my iPod just fine. So only buy this if you plan on never taking it off.....

This is great it snaps right on to the i-touch. Exactly what i wanted! I have had no problems with it.
