 USB Cable won't plug into my iPod Touch 2G September 2, 2010

Bought this mainly for the USB Cable and chargers. USB Connector wouldn't fit into the slot on the bottom of the iPod Touch. Mine is a 2nd Generation (8GB) model, but I'm pretty sure the connector is the same on all models of iPod Touch. Made it pretty useless to me.

So the whole reason I bought this was for the car charger option, and the first time I used it the plastic on the bottom of the plug in for the cigarette lighter melted and now the thing is completely useless, not too mentioned that it was a pain to clean out of the cigarette lighter. So not worth the few bucks.

This adapter only works with the 8 GB Touch, but it's an excellent value! We used the AC and car adapter for a recent trip to Florida so we didn't have to drag our bulky laptop along. You can't beat the price -- just make sure you're buying it for an 8 GB Touch and not a 32 GB or 64 GB model. (I've heard it doesn't work with those.)

i am happy with the charger and the silicone cover but it's the screen protector i have a problem with. Before you put it on, you have to take off two stickers on the actual screen protector. When i peeled off the stickers, part of it stayed on along with the remains of the glue and i could not get it off so i had to throw it away. If you are ordering this package specifically for the screen protector like i did, do not get this one, order the one from UnitedIntegral.

Ok I know what many are thinking..."what do you expect from this product...you get what you pay for." Well sometimes there are good deals out there but this was not that time. This stuff is junk...the silicone case cover is ok but kind of ill-fitting. When I plug in the the wall charger it says it does not work with my device...I have an iPod Touch 3G as the description states these products are for. The car charger is the same story. The retractable cable did work with my computer a couple times at first but now does not. I actually haven't tried the screen protectors as of yet because I already have one in use but they seem like they will work. I guess in a way it's my fault...I was like $7 or so away from getting free S/H and saw this and added it to my cart. Oh well, better luck next time. If you are in the market for these products it's best to buy them in a store so you can see their quality and return them if need be.
