hard to operate through plastic April 21, 2009 Joel V. Stefanini I love the sleek belt clip and interchange function but the ipod is pretty tough to operate through the plastic. I'm hoping it will break in some and get easier, but just something to consider.
Versatile February 28, 2009 Nerak A. Dickerson (Fort Worth, Tx) This product definitely provided the versatility I was looking for and it keeps my nano from getting damaged from sweat during my workouts. One drawback, the multiddapt clip on the back of the neoprene sleeve chipped the first time I took the belt clip off. It has continued to chip all around but this hasn't effected the versatility of the product. I've enjoyed the product and feel more confident when I'm working out or carrying my nano in my purse.
great gift for my future son-in-law January 13, 2009 S. Herzog (Morris Plains, NJ) My future son-in-law would rather not miss a day at the gym or out running. He hand-held his ipod in the past and was looking for something that had options for carrying his music. My son had gotten the Marware Sportsuit Convertible case for himself quite some time ago and recommended it with the only issue being that it showed ware on the edges of the case more than he'd like. Over all, it's very functional and adaptable to your personal preferences in wearing your music ie: via belt clip, hand/wristband or armband.
Good Product January 12, 2009 Tanya Phillips (Boulder, CO) This is the second Marware product I have bought for iPod nano. It isn't as good as I expected. The issue is with how the case is attached to the armband. It is with plastic and looks easily break able. However I knew this before purchasing it because I read reviews on the product.
I have used it at the gym and it works well. I use the case only for the gym. It is set up so you can detach the case from the armband. I don't do that because I am worried about the plastic breaking, based off of reviews I have read. The plastic has not broken for me, so far. However, I'm still concerned so I take the ipod nano in and out of the case. It is a tight case, so a bit of a pain to remove, but this seems to be the situation with most ipod nano cases. Other than that the case is nice, secure and soft on the inside.
As with most ipods I recommend getting a body guard/shield to protect your ipod from scratches. Even though the case is soft on the inside it is tight so your ipod could scratch while inserting and removing.
Good substitute for the 1st generation DLO case January 6, 2009 Duplexhelix (New York, NY) First and foremost, I would highly recommend this case for the 3rd generation ipod nano. This is the ONLY case on the market that actually covers the entire ipod-including screen and click wheel. I also have a 1st generation nano and the DLO active case worked awesome for it, everything is covered and the nano is still light weight. Unfortunetely, DLO decided to only protect the screen and not the click wheel on the 3rd generation and forced me to look for another case. There is one piece of this case that I think works better then the DLO case and that is the ability to have nothing on the back of the case (i.e clip). This is good if you like to slide your nano in your pants pocket and don't want it to get caught by the clip.
However, there are some drawbacks to this case- The material used is very thin and flimsy, I'm not sure how long it will hold up. DLO's case has held up for 3 years now! Another down side to this case is the hole for the hold button. It's made off to the side too much and you really have to cram your finger in to move the nano to hold.
Yet again I would highly recommend this case.
